Lovely+Bones=Awful

I've been inspired by a fellow blogger to blog more often. I was so excited to blog about said title but then I forgot. I apologize in advance for not making this Public Service Announcement earlier. I also apologize for those of you who wasted your money or Christmas gift card like I did.

This Saturday, Lane and I went and saw the, "Lovely Bones." For those of you who don't know me allow me to take a moment and say, me and movies don't really mix. I fall asleep almost every time. For example, The Dark Knight, IMAX theater, mega surround sound, slept like a freaking baby. Sherlock Holmes, I was dead to the world. I am fairly certain I'm narcoleptic which is why Lane almost refuses to go to movies with me because it's just an $8 nap, psshh what does he know?

Continuing on with the story, I convinced Lane to go to the Lovely Bones. I even offered to pay, with my gift card of course, I leave the real money spending to him. It took a lot to convince him to go to the Lovely Bones and my slam dunk move was that it was directed by Peter Jackson, you know Lord of the Rings guy? Needless to say my narcolepsy kicked in for one reason only, this movie was awful. I would say that it was a mix between Teletubbies and my favorite tv show Criminal Minds. I feel asleep and awoke to Lane huffing and puffing about how horrible this movie was and wishing he could sleep anywhere like I can. On a side note he often compares me to a toddler, stick me in a car so I fall asleep, go to bed at 8 or 9, give me candy when I'm whiny... but that's a whole other post.

So consider yourselves warned, DO NOT go see the Lovely Bones unless you smoke a bowl before the movie, it was that awful!

Last but not least, in my defense the book was really good, I should have known better the movies are never as good as the books. But I must say I do love me so Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlburg.
